Miniature Pinschers, like other dogs, can suffer from a number of diseases, illnesses or ailments, many of which are common to other breeds of dogs.
Some ailments can occur at any time, while others may occur as your Miniature Pinscher ages.
Dogs can have health problems just like we do. Some people have acne; some dogs get mange. Some people are lactose-intolerant; some dogs get upset stomachs a lot and need a gentler dog food formula (for example, one where oatmeal is listed as the first ingredient). Some people get bad knees or have achy joints; some dogs have hip problems.
Donít be afraid by what you read in this section. (By the way, this is not an exhaustive list). As with most information about your Min Pin, a little bit of knowledge and preparation can go a long way.
Look after your dog as you would any other member of your immediate family, and things will be fine. This includes making sure she gets to her regular vet checkups, eats healthy, gets exercise, play time and attention.
