The Top Signs Your Miniature Pinscher May Be Pregnant
The first sign is usually an
increased appetite. You may not notice
her swelling belly until 4 to 6 weeks into the pregnancy, though some ‘show’ as
soon as 2 weeks. Though her milk will
not come in until just before birth, her nipples may express a clear fluid. In some dogs, pregnancy causes
dramatic changes in behavior. She may
become irritable, exhausted, weary around other dogs, more needy, etc. In others, the change is nonexistent or not
noticeable. If you suspect a pregnancy, take
her to the vet for a checkup and to confirm that you will be having a litter
soon!
