Cross-Breeding Your Miniature Pinscher
Cross breeding is becoming more
and more popular as people meet and fall in love with mixed breeds. But while they may be cute, this is an
unpredictable game to play. A purebred Min Pin breeder would
never engage in cross breeding. The
litter may have none, some or all of the traits of either breed, good or
bad! Some mixes are successful, such
as the Chihuahua-Min Pin cross, also known as the ChiPin or ChinPin. If you plan on owning and raising one of these
breeds, it would be best to buy pups of that breed. Someone else has already gone through the
trial and error phase to create a bloodline with the most desirable
characteristics possible from each breed.
Don’t try to breed your purebred Min Pin with other breeds; you just
can’t predict the outcome.
